Electroplating means that the process of contacting the conductive product to be plated with the electrolyte, and forming a special-effect coating on its surface under the action of an external current. The coating effect can generally adopt different processes according to the needs of decoration.

 

Plating color and quality introduction

1. The following is the introduction of KDD plating color and process:
◆All plating colors can be produced according to roll plating, hang plating, and fine polishing and hang plating;
◆ Due to the characteristics of the plating process, there will be slight color differences between different workpieces and different batches of products with the same plating color;
◆High temperature, high humidity or acidic or alkaline gas environments will cause varying degrees of discoloration of plated products,so sorting sample or products should be avoided such environment;
◆ Due to the characteristics of the metal, oxidation may occur on the coating during sample card or product storage, and the coating color will be slight changes like darker.
2. In order to better use plating products, please pay attention to the following items,
◆ Plating products can generally be conventional dry cleaning, water washing and ordinary machine washing; pay attention to protection during the washing process to avoid direct friction and collision with sharp and hard objects.
◆ Avoid strong acid, strong alkaline liquid or organic solution
◆ After steam ironing, the product should be ventilated and dried as soon as possible and packaged after being fully dried to avoid changes in the plating color of the product.
3. About plating surface quality
◆Plating processes include roll plating, hang plating, and fine polishing and hang plating. Different processes have different surface qualities; the surface quality of fine polishing and rack plating of the same workpiece with the same plating color is better than that of rack plating and barrel plating, and the surface quality of rack plating is better than that of barrel plating. plating.
◆ The same plating process will also show different smoothness due to differences in size, shape, weight of the workpiece or differences in plating color.

1. About environmental protection
◆The nickel-free products are environmentally friendly products that comply with Okeo-Tex, EN71-3, US CPSIA 2008H.R.4040, ROTHs, REACH regulations, GB18401 2003, GB20400 2006 and other international and national environmental protection requirements for textiles and other products;
2. About salt spray test and acid enzyme washing test
◆Due to the characteristics of color plating, please inform us in advance if there are salt spray or acid enzyme washing requirements, which can be solved by adjusting the production process;
◆Under normal circumstances （the pH value is between 4-6, the temperature is below 60°C, and the washing time is within 45 minutes), the electroplated product will not change after washing.
